What is Kentucky League for Educational Alternatives?
 |
KLEA
was founded in 1991 by the four Roman Catholic bishops in Kentucky; |
 |
KLEA
is
a statewide organization for the parents of non-public school students and their
supporters; |
 | KLEA
represents
the interests of every non-public school student and their parents in the
state; |
 | KLEA
is located in the state's Capital and works year round to lobby the
General Assembly on issues affecting non-public schools. |

KLEA
is your voice in Frankfort
 |
Unlike
political action committees, or PAC's, KLEA does not make financial
contributions to political causes nor endorses candidates for elected
offices. |
 |
KLEA's
strength depends on grassroots organizing and parental involvement in the
legislative process. |
