Democracy depends on citizens voicing their
concerns to their elected officials. KLEA's goal is to empower, mobilize and
coordinate direct citizen advocacy to create new educational
alternatives in Kentucky.
KLEA's job is to provide the necessary tools
for parents and families to be informed and involved in the
legislative process.
Grassroots advocacy is the source of KLEA's
effectiveness and as the name implies it begins with individuals like
you. When constituents or "the folks back home" unite and work
together, legislators hear your voices loud and clear.
As the 2008 General Assembly approaches, the
time for preparation and action is now.
KLEA will be posting additional resources
and information soon to prepare for the General Assembly in January.
